Well, some retail genius literally decided about 100 years ago to come up with a Black Friday sale that has turned into a huge sale holiday. How has Black Friday worked so well? Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving where most people are off and most people are with family. Being off and being with family is a perfect combination for shopping.
